YARPs are :

  • Young adults between the ages of 18 and 25 who have chosen to commit their gifts, skills, time, and energy to serving God and ministering to youth everywhere.
  • Committed servants of Christ who can plan and conduct youth programs at the congregational, cluster, conference, and Synod levels.
  • Trained by the Synod in Youth Ministry

 

 

YARPs are great for :

  • planning retreats and lock-ins
  • assisting in starting or revitalizing a youth group
  • leading worship or Bible studies
  • leading songs, games, and mixers at an event
  • facilitating program planning for a youth group
  • providing strong Christian role models in discussions of topics critical to youth
  • providing leadership training for youth
  • facilitating evaluation of existing programs.
